I took this picture when I was still fresh into beginning photography. I remember igniting so many different ideas for photo shoots to do with my friends one night and became really excited. I remember with this, I painted the idea of a greek goddess looking into her own reflection. Cheesy, but my mind back then was starting fresh with such ideas. I notice a lot of flaws looking at the quality of this photograph now, but it’s actually become one of my favorite portraits.
Polaroids, polaroids! My second week of summer was more like a winter. I’ve had those orange gloves since elementary school. I am amazed at how they still fit, and even more amazed by this tree.
I have learned that there is simply so much in the understated. There is something extraordinary in photographing with film. I wish I could explain to you how this picture makes me feel, but my words will fail. And I hope you too, can just feel.
This was photographed a couple of years back. It has easily become one of my favorite shots. I still sense the strong feeling of apathy when I took it. And all I wanted to do was distract from it.
One of my favorite places at home. It’s a landscape I photograph from time to time, when seasons change. Yet somehow, I always find myself coming back.
